Day 1: Filling your life tanks.
“The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.” – Mike Murdock
This week, we’re going to be looking at how to fill what I call your ‘life tanks’ – your time, space, love, energy and money tanks. When our life tanks become drained, it’s virtually impossible to make any changes easily. It’s like setting off on a journey – without filling up with fuel.
So this week I want you to become aware of which life tank needs some re-fuelling and create some baby steps in order to do exactly that.
Firstly, draw a circle and split it into 5 segments and label each segment: time, space, love, energy and money. Colour in each segment according to how full each tank is. Colour to the outside edge if your tank is over brimming and you have more than enough. Give a score for each segment too. 10/10 is completely full. 0 is completely empty.
Over the next week, we are going to be working on filling each segment to 8 out of 10 or above..

Hiya
This might be a daft question, but I’ll ask it anyway. What’s the difference between time and space. When you say space do you mean the free time you have to devote to whatever you want?
Thanks
Bronwyn
Time is literally the minutes and hours of how you spend your time. Space is more physical rooms in your house, or garden and perhaps I would also define space as ‘head-space’. Sometimes when I’m full on busy, I don’t have any head space to think. So I sometimes love the time when I’m driving from a to b with no one in the car as it gives me space to think something through.
but these are my definitions. what does ‘time’ and ‘space’ mean to you? and then score them.
